Valentine's Day Card Series-- Day 6

Hello all,

I have another card project to share with you for the series... hope you enjoy!
This card came together pretty easily. I have vowed to use my scraps more and that is precisely what I did
! The bottom polka dot patterned paper is from an old paper pack from MME, then a sliver from Crate Paper and finally Bazzill glitter cardstock at the top. Layered was a blush colored velum strip cut out with AC Knock Outs punch. I then added lace, a paper doily which is underneath the centerpiece of a large circle and scalloped circle with "love birds" from the marriage stamp set from Inkadinkado. All topped off with May Arts' blush chevron twill ribbon.
Hopefully this provides you with the inspiration you need to whip up some quick and easy cards for those you love!

Craft on!

Valentine's Day Series

As Valentine's Day is fast approaching, I thought I would post a card for the lovers' holiday daily! So here is Day 1:

Lots of layering and stamping in this card! Started with a cream heavy cardstock base, topped with patterned paper from Crate Paper and then overlayed a pink vellum sheet that is held in place with heart brads. I then topped that with Spellbinders' Decorative Labels 22, cut out from paper from My Mind's Eye and then basic Labels 22. The center piece was created using PTI's 2nd to last Polka Dot parade stamp set, which I think is just utterly charming! So there you have it, I'll check back in with another post tomorrow!

Craft on!

Sorry!

I realize Valentine's day is fast approaching and my card series simply halted! I, believe it or not, lost my camera that contained all the pictures, gasp. But now I'm back in business and ready to post a few cards as a peace offering. :-)

The first one is another "Love Monster" easel card, designed with kids or the young at heart in mind. They are a bit whimsical and oh so fun! The patterned paper is My Mind's Eye. Then, the other easel card that has "Mr. And Mrs" on the easel part was designed for my in-laws who are newlyweds. It is their first Valentine's Day as Mr. and Mrs. so I wanted a small card to commemorate that. The last one says "All you need is...chocolate". The chocolate was handwritten with Dong A Miffy popcorn pens. When you heat them up they literally poof up! So much fun. :)

Stay calm and craft on!

Day 3- Love Monsters

As mentioned on Day 1, most of my cards will be geared toward kids since I'm sending them out to my numerous nieces and nephews. None of my cards are exactly alike but the color schemes and stamp sets will definitely overlap. Enjoy!

Day 2- Valentine's Day Card Series

As promised, here is another Valentine's Day card. This is an easel card sized 4 1/4 square. It was created for my nieces/nephews so tailored for a younger, sweet human. :) The monster is from the Monster's Ink set from Technique Tuesday, the hearts from a Martha Stewart Valentine's Day set and the background stamps of famous couples is again from Papertrey and was heat embossed. The paper is from My Mind's Eye 6x6 paper pad.

A little bit under the weather, so my apologies for the short post!
