One Card, Two Challenges

Today's post makes me feel quite the multi-tasker... this will be an entry both for the Card Concept Challenge and for this week's Make It Monday from Papertrey Ink. For the PTI challenge, we had to use die cuts to create confetti... so naturally I thought a shaker card would be perfect! I die cut the leaves and flowers from Polka Dot Parade "Thanks" and even some of the smaller florals from Rosie Posie and foliage from Cutting Garden. I layered with papers from American Crafts' spring release, die cut a tag from a lovely Spellbinders' tag die and finished it off with more florals and this wonderfully sweet sentiment. To fit into the Card Concept's challenge requirements, I used Hero Arts' Green Hills and Cup O' Joe. Lots of fun!
I couldn't quite decide if it fit into the "Clean and Layered" category or if it was more of a "Classy Elegant" card. Both share some similar attributes-- layering, ribbon.... perhaps you can tell me?! Well that's all for today, thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful weekend and craft on!

  1. No question in my mind...Classy and Elegant! There are so many elements of that style card here...absolutely beautiful. Great idea to make a shaker card with the larger confetti pieces...the stamping is perfect to, every piece so crisp and spot on with the colors for the challenge!
