Colour Q: #315

Well hello,  just posting a quick entry for Colour Q's lovely #315 challenge,  the color scheme inspired by this beautiful photo:

So,  I needed some cards to send to a couple of nieces for their birthday  and decided that the dies and stamp set from Papertrey Ink's Party Pops Make-it-Market kit was perfect
I began by cutting a card panel from white cardstock with a stitched die from My Favorite Things.  Then using the Party Pops kit dies,  I cut out the top portion of the cupcake that flips up.  Then I started my stamping,  using various stamps from the set in Raspberry Fizz, Summer Sunrise,  New Leaf and Tropical Teal PTI inks.

Though you unfortunately cannot see it in the photograph,  I also went ahead and added some clear Wink of Stella to the various party elements to add interest. I then backed the panel with Raspberry Fizz cardstock that was cut using my Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangles.

And finally using Versafine black ink and clear embossing powder,  I heat embossed "Surprise" under the cupcake flap!  I hope you enjoy and until next time... Craft on!

  1. Hey, Oreet, you've got us all a little worried because we haven't heard from you. Your last two CCC recipients are still waiting for their cards, and you're not responding to our emails. Are you okay? Let me know, okay? If you're having a rough patch, let me help.
