Celebrate- Colour Q #342

I caught a nasty bug from my son, who picked it up at the "Petri dish" that was my nephew's birthday party, so this will be a rather quick post...My apologies! :)

This is the beautiful photo from the Colour Q Challenge that inspired
 my card:

And here is my card, created with three different stamp sets (all PTI), namely In the Bag, Graceful Greetings and for the flowers that I stamped on the tissue paper stuffing my miniature shopping bag, Don't Forget to Write (the latest of Betsy's gorgeous Make it Market kits).

 I framed the bag using one of my favorite dies from Mama Elephant:

 Such a fun card to make...I made a masculine version that I plan on posting in the coming days!

Butterfly- Happy Birthday wishes

Hi all,

Squeezing in a card for this week's Just Us Girls Challenge-Butterfly.

And here is my card:

I die cut from True Black cardstock this love butterfly Coverplate from PTI. Then, I layered it over a white card base. I pulled out my Copics in shades of turquoise, pink and purple and using somewhat of a 'pointillism' technique, added in color. I then liberally applied Clear Wink of Stella. Finished it of with a duo of banners to accompany the ombre sponged 'happy'. Here's a peek at the inside :
